The RG-EST350G targets longer-range wireless backhaul than a basic short-range kit — linking a remote site, tower, or building up to 5km away back to the main network, either as a single point-to-point pair or, using TDMA, as a point-to-multipoint hub serving several remote ends.
For shorter links under roughly 500m, the lower-cost RG-EST100-E may be more cost-effective; the RG-EST350G is the right choice once distance or point-to-multipoint requirements exceed that kit's range.
